“Where Are You”: Jayson Tatum Snubbing Himself for Zion Williamson, Grant Hill and Other Former NBA Stars in Duke History Leaves Fans Enraged

Boston Celtics star and former Duke prospect Jayson Tatum recently gave out his thoughts regarding some of the best players to play for his former team. Safe to say, there are quite a few surprises here.

Although he did not name his top 5, he named 8 players. Tatum clarified that any of the 8 names in his list can make a case to break into the top 5.

The names listed are New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson, Grant Hill, Jay Williams, JJ Reddick, Shane Battier, Christian Laettner, Jabari Parker, and Jahlil Okafor.

Interestingly enough, Jayson Tatum did not name himself, although he made quite a name for himself playing for Duke. With Tatum dropping his best players list, NBA fans on Twitter have given their reactions. While some feel it is fair on the part of the NBA finalist, some do not agree with him.

Jayson Tatum, not putting himself on the list, has clearly left some fans on the social media platform annoyed. They feel the Boston Celtics star deserves to be there considering his numbers for the team.

How good was Jayson Tatum in Duke?

Jayson Tatum is one of the best players in the league currently. He led a brilliant team to the NBA finals this year. Although they lost out to the Golden State Warriors, the team has a lot of positives to take out of the season.

He averaged 16.8 points, 2.1 assists, and 7.3 rebounds during the 2016-17 season playing for Duke. Thanks to such performances, he was drafted by the Celtics as the 3rd overall pick in round 1.
