In the latest episode of ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq,’ O’Neal, his co-hosts Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams discussed various relevant things. During the show, they also talked about the controversy involving superstar Kanye West. The rapper has found himself in hot waters after his allegedly anti-Semitic comments. He was previously suspended from Instagram and Twitter for making such remarks.

As per reports, Ye had shared a series of comments based on supposedly race-sensitive conspiracy theories in a separate interview with Fox News. However, Fox News removed those segments before broadcasting. This has stirred a huge controversy. And West has received a major backlash for his comments.

Shaquille O’Neal proclaimed Kanye West is a marketing genius. “When are y’all people gonna realize that Kanye West is an MMG? Master of Marketing Genius,” Shaq stated. He added, “I don’t know if he really believes what he said but I know whenever he does something, it’s an outrage and people talk about it. That’s marketing, that’s marketing 101.”

However, Turner is definitely not a fan of the rapper’s remarks. She stated that she is not outraged but over it and felt it was dangerous. Turner added, “That type of hate speech is dangerous, and I wasn’t laughing at it at all.”

Recently, ‘The Shop: Uninterrupted’ produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter interviewed Ye. But they decided to not air the interview altogether. Carter explained he believed West would give a “respectable discussion” when he spoke to him the day before the show. However, that was not the case. Carter added Ye used the show to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes. So they decided against airing the whole show.
