The Kings recently faced the Los Angeles Clippers, and it was one of the highest-scoring matches in NBA history, let alone this season. With the Kings in such fine form, the players are receiving a lot of media and fan attention. Naturally, their private lives have also become a thing of great discussion.

De’Aaron Fox’s wife, Recee Caldwell has an interesting relationship with the game of basketball. Not only is she the wife of one of the best players in the league currently, but she is also a former professional too. Moreover, her affiliations with certain NBA teams are also unknown to most fans.

De’Aaron Fox is not the only member of the Fox family with a high basketball IQ. His long-time girlfriend and wife, Recee Caldwell, is also well-versed in the sport. After all, she played for UCLA and also in the WNBA. She is a former McDonald’s All-American, like her husband.

Caldwell had a brief stint in the WNBA with the Seattle Storm. The Storm signed her in April 2019 and waived her the very next month. 

Following this, Caldwell took her talents to the technical side of the game. She worked as an intern in the player development staff for the Golden State Warriors and the Washington Wizards. Fox and Caldwell tied the knot in 2022 after being engaged for two years.

The couple recently welcomed their first child in February and it will not come as a surprise if the baby turns out to be a potential basketball star in the future.

The Sacramento Kings currently sit 3rd in the Western Conference and Fox has played a huge role in their successes this season. The 2022-23 NBA All-Star averages 25.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.2 assists this season.

Domantas Sabonis, the Lithuanian basketball star, has also played a major role. The three times NBA All-Star averages 18.8 points, 12.3 rebounds and 6.9 assists this season. Together with Fox, the duo might just take the Kings to their first playoffs after 2006.
