Who is Ella Mai?

28-year-old Ella Mai was born on November 3, 1994, in L0ndon. The talented R&B singer is an alumna of the British and Irish Modern Music Institute. She also participated in season 11 of the popular reality show The X Factor. Mai rose to prominence when she was discovered via Instagram in 2015 and signed a deal with Interscope Records. This happened after the London native uploaded a four-track solo EP to SoundCloud.
