Controversial WNBA star Brittney Griner and eminent rapper Kanye West currently have the whole world talking about them. While Griner is in a Russian jail for carrying illegal drugs in her luggage, West is all over the news for his anti-semitic comments.
Celebrities and public figures across the world have been talking about the two for quite some time. Recently, popular comedian Andrew Schulz also gave his opinions on a podcast.

After bashing and roasting Kanye West for a while, Schulz and the other panelists turned their attention to Griner. According to Schulz, people are in jail in the United States of America for similar charges to that of Griner, and the efforts to bring back Griner are all a waste.
Schulz said, “We got people with weed charges that’s in jail here. Basically, his point was like, lets get them out. Why are we putting all this money, time, and focus on this woman who knowingly took drugs into a country where she’s not supposed to.”
Schulz is not the first person to criticize the Government for its attention on Brittney Griner. Former POTUS Donald Trump was one of the biggest critics of the Biden administration regarding their stance on Griner.

Phoenix Mercury star Brittney Griner has been in prison for well over 200 days now. With her latest appeal rejected by the court, a prisoner swap deal remains the last hope for the basketball star.
People around the world are divided on the swap deal. While some feel the Government should bring her back, some insist she serves her sentence in Russia for breaking the law.
Former POTUS Donald Trump certainly is not in favor of the Government bringing back Griner. He called her a “potentially spoiled person” while bashing the administration.
“It certainly doesn’t seem like a very good trade, does it? He’s an absolute– one of the worst in the world, and he’s going to be given his freedom because a potentially spoiled person goes into Russia loaded up with drugs“, said Trump.
The potential swap deal involves notorious arms dealer Viktor Bout. In case the officials reached an agreement. Griner and former Marine Paul Whelan return back to the USA while Bout goes back to Russia.
