The Los Angeles Lakers have made some serious moves in this off-season; some even questionable to the ones outside. Likewise, this has brought in mixed reactions from the fans. With a lot of criticism coming in, Lakers fans have kept true to their organisation.

Similarly, a former Laker is all in support of the new looking Purple and Gold for the coming NBA season.

Ron Artest calls 2021 Lakers Once in a Lifetime Team

Being a former Laker, it is no surprise that Ron Artest is standing tall with his team. He is excited for the season to start and see the new team in action.

He wrote, This @Lakers team is like a classic lauryn hill album . It only happens once in a lifetime . Can’t wait for the season to start. Skip preseason”

Notably, he is referring to the ‘Big 3’ of Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis and LeBron James. They also have a lot of depth with veterans such as Rondo, Carmelo and Dwight Howard coming off the bench.

They have also solved their shooting worries by signing sharp shooter Wayne Ellington for that purpose.

Artest himself was part of a revolutionary Lakers team with Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. He even won a championship with them in 2009-10, being a key contributor to the squad. He put up 10 points and 4 rebounds in the 7 game finals series, including a late game triple to seal Game 7.
