The Los Angeles Lakers go on the road to face the Sacramento Kings once again. Their last matchup was nothing short of exciting. The game went to triple overtime with the Kings prevailing at the final buzzer. However, this time around, the Lakers are shorthanded big time. LeBron James will miss yet another game this season as he won’t suit up tonight.

James has had his share of worries with injuries this season. The ‘King’ has never been tested this way. He has played in just 11 games of the regular season so far. Now, he is set to miss another contest for the purple and gold. This is not great news for the team which James has rallied in the last few games. However, they do have enough firepower to get the job done.

LeBron James out vs the Kings

After coming in with such form, terrible news has come in for the ‘King’. James will enter the health and safety protocol and could miss several more games. While it isn’t a physical injury to worry about, the Lakers are sure in for big trouble since their record without Bron is poor.

This obviously comes in as big news for James, who has played in just half the contests so far. His presence is crucial to the Lakers. As James was on a hot scoring stretch on his return, the Lakers would have loved to have that assurance on their side. However, it seems luck just won’t be with them anytime soon as LeBron James could miss more games from tonight.

In a case such as LeBron’s, a player is meant to go into health and safety protocol for 10 days. Hence, the Lakers are in for a long run without the ‘King’ once again.

LeBron himself would be gutted to be out once again. As the purple and gold had just started to pick things up, this news may be the breaking point for them. With the first quarter of the season gone, the playoff picture is slowly being drawn. Hence, every game becomes important from here on out, and not having James is a big disadvantage.
