In a race to make it to the top, the Golden State Warriors remain just one step away from winning yet another NBA final. After their years of dominating with a dynasty, they were quiet for a couple of years. However, this year the Bay had all their primary pieces back in action, and they are going all the way. However, NBA fans were left in total shock as Kendrick Lamar could turn out to be the guy who brings a championship for the Warriors.

Led by Stephen Curry, the Bay got back their status as one of the top teams in the NBA. After missing out on the playoffs in the previous two seasons, the return of Klay Thompson changed things completely. With their original championship core back in business, the Warriors had only one goal: to get back to the big stage. And sealing a Game 5 win against the Mavericks, the Warriors are only four wins away from glory.

Kendrick Lamar, the secret formula of the Warriors?

In a stretch from 2015 to 2018, the Golden State Warriors were the most dominant team in the NBA. After struggling for nearly half a century, the Bay was once again the top dogs in the NBA. They shocked LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2015, winning their first title in 40 years. Following their impressive campaign, they went on an absolute tear breaking the regular-season record set by Michael Jordan. However, in a series that shocked the world, they dropped a 3-1 lead to LeBron and lost in the finals. But they made up for the loss by winning back-to-back titles in the following two years.

So what was the huge factor? While the entrance of Kevin Durant surely changed the dynamic in the league, Kendrick Lamar is the main weapon for the Warriors. It came to the surface that every time Lamar drops an album, Stephen Curry and co. go on to win it all. And it seems 2022 will be yet another test of this theory.

Much to the delight of Warriors fans, Lamar dropped his album ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ this year itself. And the effects are already in order. In an absolute classic, the Bay defeated the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 to become the first team to enter the NBA finals. Led by Klay Thompson’s heroics, they are now the kings of the Western Conference.
