Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry will be out for a couple of weeks due to an injury. Though it looks like he is making the most of it, spending time with his family and getting enough rest and sleep. So much so that his wife, Ayesha Curry, decided to troll him on social media for falling fast asleep while she was up sharing the post on her official Instagram page.

According to the injury reports, Stephen Curry suffered partial tears to his ligaments and a contusion to his left leg. Curry sustained that injury on February 4 while playing against the Dallas Mavericks.

Ayesha Curry shared a post on her official Instagram profile. She shared a picture that said, “Made it to the level in marriage where you get in trouble for being able to fall asleep so fast.”

Ayesha captioned the picture with“@stephencurry30 is just so so good at falling asleep fast. I struggle so bad. When I tell you I be getting peeeeved.”

Now the irony in the picture is Ayesha using her social media instead of trying to put her phone aside and get some sleep herself. Although it is nice that she, too, will be getting to spend quality time with Steph.

Even if that means Curry spending his time sleeping as much as he can. To recharge for the second half of the season.

The Golden State Warriors are 28-28 this season, standing at the ninth position in the Western Conference. The Warriors were part of a four-team trade that brought one of their former players back to the bay area.

If Curry misses substantial time off the floor, it could be troubling news for Warriors fans. The Western Conference has a lot of teams stacked with a plethora of talent. And even though the Warriors still need talent, they will need their team leader in the playoffs.

This is the second time Stephen Curry has been sidelined due to an injury. He got injured around Christmas last year while playing the Indiana Pacers. Though the team held its own in his absence. However, other teams push it into high gear in the second half of the season.

So, here’s to hoping that Curry gets enough sleep and returns to the court soon.
