Los Angeles Lakers injury updates and lineup prediction

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered their second loss in a row for the very first time as the Detroit Pistons beat them 107- 92. The champions were pretty even till the fourth quarter. But they had a woeful performance in the fourth quarter as they fell flat and scored only 14 points.

Not only did they lose two games, they also lost their position in the Western Conference and are currently the third seed. The Lakers missed Anthony Davis’ presence in the game. Without Davis, players like Blake Griffin and Jeremy Grant had a field against the champions.

The Lakers might have some injury concerns for the next game. AD is questionable for the game as he recovers from a quadriceps injury. Apart from him, forwards Jared Dudley and Kostas Antetokounmpo are sidelined with calf and knee injuries, respectively.

The champions will hope to make a solid comeback against an Eastern Conference juggernaut in Boston Celtics.

Predictions

The LA Lakers, this season, have always made a big statement win after a disappointing loss. They will be willing to do the same against the Celtics, too. The Celtics are seeing the return of the return of their Big Three, who might be rusty on the court. The Lakers thus have a slight edge over the Celtics in this fixture.
