New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers: Injury Updates and Lineups

The New York Knicks have recently been on an inconsistent run, but their latest game against the Sacramento Kings ended in a convincing fashion. Should they carry the same momentum into Saturday’s game, a win would be imminent.

New York isn’t hindered too much by injuries, although they have one player who will be unavailable for the game. Mitchell Robinson will miss the game due to a fractured hand, while point-guard Elfrid Payton (hamstring) is on the questionable list.

Pacers

The Indiana Pacers are fearlessly led by Domantas Sabonis, who is making a mark in the absence of key starters. Sabonis is averaging 21.5 points per game along with securing 11.7 rebounds to carry the Pacers on his back.

Malcolm Brogdon has been vital in helping Sabonis get the wins for Indiana, but they’re still without Caris LeVert and T. J. Warren. On top of that, JaKarr Sampson is also unavailable for the Knicks game, but he’s hardly got any minutes this season so it won’t have much of an effect on the Pacers.

Prediction

This game will be intense for all possible reasons. There is a lot on the line, as the Knicks and Pacers are almost on even terms with their regular-season records. As mentioned before, if Indiana wins, they’ll take the Knicks’ spot on the Eastern Conference table.

However, the Knicks are the favorites to win this game based on their recent form. They trashed the Kings by 19 points and Julius Randle’s hot hand is continuing to get them the wins. Furthermore, rookie Immanuel Quickley is a treat to watch, and he might once again impress if given a chance to start the game.

The game is at the prestigious Madison Square Garden, and we’re picking the New York Knicks to win this fixture due to home advantage and because they hold a better momentum.
