The Phoenix Suns face-off against the Denver Nuggets for game 2 of the second round series. This game is scheduled for tonight at 10:00 PM EST and will be held in Phoenix Suns Arena.

Coming into this game, the Suns found themselves in top form as they beat LeBron James and the defending champions the Lakers in their first series. Their confidence was visible in the game as the Suns saw many of their role players step up in the game. While Denver did take a lead, the Suns rallied a massive comeback in the third quarter and ultimately were the better team overall as they won the game 122-105.

Devin Booker might have had a quiet game with 21 points, but it was Chris Paul and DeAndre Ayton’s 41 points which was pivotal. With home court advantage, the Suns will be determined to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series.

The Denver Nuggets, meanwhile, had a poor outing in the first game in Phoenix. Playing away from home, Denver initially looked comfortable and went toe to toe against the Suns for two-and-a-half quarters. With 7:34 left in the game, the Nuggets had a 9-point lead and looked comfortable.

But Jokic and Co. couldn’t keep hold of their lead and lost the game. MVP Nikola Jokic had an uncharacteristic game as he shot only 10 of his 23 shots and scored 22 points. If the Nuggets want to win this series, the Joker has to step up and put up big numbers. Can Jokic lead the Nuggets to tie the series?

Phoenix Suns- Injury updates and lineup prediction

The Suns will be missing guard Abdel Nader for the game 2 against the Nuggets. With Phoenix taking a lead 1-0, coach Monty Williams will hope that his team can maintain their electrifying form against the Nuggets.
