Golden State Warriors: injury updates and lineup prediction

The Warriors have some injury concerns of their own. Their guard, Klay Thompson, will miss the season, as he is recovering from an Achilles tear.

They will also be without Alen Samilagic (knee), Marquese Chriss (lower leg). Veteran forward Draymond Green is probable for the next game. If he does play, it will be a welcome addition to their side.

After a rocky start to their season, the Warriors finally look like a cohesive side in the last two games. With two successive wins, they will try to maintain the momentum against the Trail Blazers.

Trail Blazers injury updates and lineup prediction

The Trail Blazers do not have any major injury concerns. However, their backup forward Nassir Little will miss the upcoming game due to an undisclosed injury.

Apart from Little, their shooter, Gary Trent Jr., suffered from a calf injury in Blazers game against the Lakers. The 21-year-old is doubtful for the Warriors’ game.

The Blazers’ starting lineup has been underperforming in their first four games. Apart from Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, the others starters in Jusuf Nurkic and Derrick Jones Jr. have been not contributing much in the offense.

The Blazers will hope that the other starters can contribute in scoring and take some pressure off of Lillard and McCollum.
