The Los Angeles Lakers continue to show up big time in the second half of this season. The team, led by Anthony Davis from the front, has secured important wins with their primary star LeBron James out due to an injury. However, the scoring leader continues to steal the attention even during his time out at the courtside. LeBron James and the Lakers fans enjoyed New Orleans Pelicans falling prey to the red-hot Lakers. On a record-breaking night for the franchise, D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, and Anthony Davis showed out as the Lakers overcame the Pelicans in convincing fashion.

The recent additions to the team seem to have benefitted the Lakers. D’Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley continue to play a crucial role for the team, considering the pressurized situation of the Lakers. Further, Rui Hachimura has made sure his presence is felt on both ends of the court.

LeBron James’ absence might have helped Anthony Davis to get back to his prime form. The 8x All-Star is dominating both offensively and defensively after a rough start to the season. Yet again today, AD secured 35 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in the huge win. Moreover, the team set the franchise record for most three in any half in Lakers history. The team bagged 15 threes in the first half of the game, with Beasley going 7 out of 10 from deep.

LeBron James revealed he is ambidextrous

The Lakers star revealed that he was initially a left-hander. However, after watching the games of former NBA superstars, James switched his shooting hands. The forward mentioned, “I have no idea how I became a right-handed basketball player. I think maybe it was because of Michael Jordan, Penny Hardaway… Seeing those guys shoot righty, [I thought], ‘I guess I’ll shoot righty.’ I’m pretty much a left-handed guy.”
