The Atlanta Hawks host the Milwaukee Bucks in the third game of the 2021 Eastern Conference Finals. This game is scheduled for 8:30 PM EST and will be played in the State Farm Arena.

The Milwaukee Bucks were one of the clear favorites against Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Finals. But the Bucks suffered from a shock loss in game 1 as Trae Young led his team to a 1-0 lead in the series. After losing the first game against the Hawks, Milwaukee knew they had put up a strong performance in game 2 against the Hawks.

Giannis and Co. certainly stepped up to the plate as they put the clamps on Trae Young and Co. and were firing on all cylinders. Courtesy of a 25 and 22 point performances from Giannis and Jrue Holiday, the Bucks easily blew out the Hawks 125-91. With the series tied at 1-1 and momentum in their side, the Bucks will look to take a 2-1 lead.

The Atlanta Hawks were pretty disappointing in game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. While they took a commanding 1-0 lead of the series, the Hawks fell flat offensively in game 2.

After putting up 48 points in game 1, Trae Young simply did not have enough left in his tank. With the Bucks deploying Jrue Holiday on him, Ice Trae went cold from the field and scored an uncharacteristic 15 points against the Bucks.

Atlanta also lacked an answer against the explosiveness of 2-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who got to the basket at will. Coach Nate McMillan will be looking forward to limit the Bucks offense and given that the Hawks will be playing in a jam-packed State Farm Arena, this might be the perfect game to take the lead in the series.

Predictions

This Bucks and Hawks’ match-up has had its fair share of twists and turns so far. While the Hawks have shocked the with their all-round display, the Bucks despite having the necessary star power have been inconsistent.

But given the performance they put up against the Hawks in game 2, they surely have an edge over Atlanta in the upcoming game, to be played in the State Farm Arena
