Game 5 of the second-round playoff series between the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors will be played this Wednesday. The game will not be as good for Memphis as other games because of the absence of their star player. A knee injury sidelined All-Star point guard Ja Morant from Game 4.

According to the reports, the player will not be playing in the following game. As game 4 results were in favor of the Warriors, where they scored 101-98. It is at this point that the Warriors stand a chance of eliminating Memphis and advancing directly to the Western Conference Finals. For the Warriors, it would be their first time to go after the 2019 season.

Players who cannot take part in Game 5
The Warriors are without Gary Payton II because of his left elbow fracture. The other player to miss the game is Andre Iguodala, who is suffering from an injury to his left cervical disc. Additionally, James Wiseman won’t be in action.

In Game 5, will the Golden State Warriors be able to defeat the Memphis Grizzlies without Ja Morant?
Right now, the Warriors lead Memphis by a 3-1 margin in the series. The Grizzlies will have difficulty playing in Game 5 against the Warriors without Morant. On the other hand, if we look at their regular-season record, they were 20-5 without Morant.

The warriors are in good shape, although they need to work hard on improving their game, especially after their previous performance. The Grizzlies will surely be affected by the absence of their top player in the upcoming match. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how Game 5 goes for both teams.
