Brooklyn Nets injury update and lineup prediction

The Brooklyn Nets’ suffered their first loss in five games as the Washington Wizards shocked the league and won the game against the Nets. Their defense was in a meltdown against the Wizards as they blew a 5 point lead in the last 10 seconds of the game.

Their defense continues to disappoint. After the James Harden trade, they have been the worst defense in the league. If this trend continues, we might not be seeing them in the finals.

The Nets have most of their side ready for the next game. They have some minor injury concerns as their guard Spencer Dinwiddie is out for the season with a partial ACL tear. Forward Nicholas Claxton is out with a knee injury and guard Tyler Johnson is out due to the health and safety protocols.

They now face the top team in the NBA in the LA Clippers. If they don’t put up an all-round performance, they might be in big trouble.

Predictions

The Los Angeles Clippers are missing some key pieces in Nicolas Batum and Patrick Beverley, while the Nets see the return of James Harden in the game. But given the form Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are in and the Nets’ leaky defense, the Clippers have a slight edge over the loaded Nets side.
