The Boston Celtics take on the Portland Trail Blazers in an East vs West clash tonight. The Celtics are looking to recover their form this season. After reaching the Eastern Conference Finals for two of the last three seasons, the Celtics could miss the solidified playoff spots and have to compete through the play-in games. The team has struggled despite the good form of players like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

For the Trail Blazers, they have had a better season this year. They currently occupy the sixth seed in the Western Conference and are looking to surpass the Los Angeles Lakers in the rankings. Damian Lillard has been playing fantastic basketball and is one of the front runners for the MVP this season. The Blazers will hope to get a good run of form in the final stretch of the season.

The Celtics have picked up a bit of form in recent games and are on a three-game winning streak. Whereas, the Trail Blazers have lost three of their last four games. While Damian Lillard has been playing some excellent basketball, it hasn’t been enough for the Blazers. Expect the Celtics to continue their good run of form against a fledgling Portland Trail Blazers squad.

The Trail Blazers are relatively unscathed on the injury front. The Blazers will be without Zach Collins, who remains out after missing the last game against the Detroit Pistons. However, the rest of the team is fully fit, and the Trail Blazers can expect to have stars like Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, Jusuf Nurkic, Norman Powell, and others.

The Celtics also have almost no injuries to worry about. Evan Fournier remains out for this game, as he continues to comply with the NBA’s COVID-19 protocols. But the Celtics will have their other stars available to them, as they continue to find their form.
Expect Jayson Tatum, Kemba Walker, and Jaylen Brown to feature and play big minutes.
