LA Clippers vs New Orleans Pelicans – Injury Updates and Lineups

The Clippers now sport a healthy roster after taking early injury blows in the season. As of now, only big man Ivica Zubac is listed as questionable for the game due to abdominal soreness. The rest are ready to take on the Pelicans on home soil.

The Pelicans will face a massive challenge of overcoming the Clippers, and they’re also troubled by injuries. The team has listed four players as probable for the game, and veterans JJ Redick and Eric Bledsoe make up two spots on it.

Lonzo Ball and Nicolo Melli are the other two players who are evaluated on a day-to-day basis, which makes him questionable for the Clippers game.

Possible Lineup

Nickeil Alexander-Walker (G)

Kira Lewis Jr. (G)

Brandon Ingram (F)

Zion Williamson (F)

Steven Adams (C)

The Pelicans are a strong team indeed, but they’re yet to settle into a rhythm as a unit. While Zion Williamson is fit, he needs to take over as the team’s top scorer and lead them by example.

The LA Clippers are the mighty favorites to win this one, owing to the massive experience they possess in their lineup. With the Pelicans hindered by injuries, it might be yet another loss to what has been a tough start to their 2021 campaign.
