The Nets didn’t get off to the best of starts as they trailed their rivals 47-53 going into the half-time break in game 1. They were wasteful from the perimeter earlier on. But just as the Celtics threatened to spring a surprise, Brooklyn took charge.

The trio of James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant combined for 49 of their 57 points in the second half. KD finished the match with 32 points and 12 rebounds while Irving had 29 points and 6 boards. James Harden was all over the floor as he accumulated a stat line that read 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists by the end of this showdown.
