Brooklyn Nets travel to Salt Lake City to take on the NBA table-toppers, Utah Jazz, tonight. While second-placed Nets (30-14) are just a game behind East leaders, the Sixers, the Jazz (31-11) are bidding to keep hold of their mantle in the West.

The Jazz haven’t been their previous imperious self lately. Of their last ten games, they have lost five. So, they need to turn it around or risk surrendering their place at the top of the charts in the West.

Fortunately for them, they don’t have any notable injury concerns as they return to home comforts after a five-game stretch on the road. In their previous meeting with the Nets, they lost 130-96. So, they will be out for revenge.

Preview | Brooklyn Nets
This game will serve as the second leg of a back-to-back for them after they defeated the Trail Blazers 116-112 last night.
James Harden led the way for Brooklyn as the likes of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving sat out for different reasons. While Durant is still rehabilitating from his hamstring strain, Irving has taken a leave of absence for family reasons. Both haven’t even traveled with the squad for the road trip and as a result, won’t be either a part of this contest and the next one against the Pistons.

The Nets won in spite of their inconsistent shooting form against the Blazers (9-30 from the three-point line). James Harden continued with his stupendous ball-handling form with 17 assists on top of the 25 points he scored.

Predictions | Jazz vs Nets
Strictly because the Nets swept aside the Jazz in their previous encounter, they go in as the slight favorites. Though they will have their hands full guarding James Harden as he can influence the outcome of this game like no other player on the court.
