The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Phoneix Suns tonight. The Lakers will be worried about keeping their good form. The team is undefeated since the All-Star break. However, there is a major concern now that LeBron James has suffered an ankle injury. Him going out, along with Anthony Davis’ absence, puts their current status under jeopardy.

The Phoenix Suns have been a revelation this season. The addition of Chris Paul has transformed the team from a perennial lottery team to a contender in the Western Conference. The Suns are currently third in the West and looking to improve on that, now that the Los Angeles Lakers are looking a little weaker.

With that in mind, let us take a look at the Los Angeles Lakers clash against the Phoenix Suns.

The LA Lakers are struggling with significant injuries. LeBron James has been ruled out indefinitely. Furthermore, Anthony Davis and Marc Gasol are also recovering and have been ruled out for the game. The Lakers are also without Jared Dudley going into the game. Their injury concerns are major for them, given how their form could be affected.

Predicted Lineup: Dennis Schroder, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Kuzma, Markieff Morris, Damian Jones

The Phoenix Suns are relatively unscathed when it comes to the injury front. Torrey Craig is the only player that could be a doubt going into the game with the Lakers. Chris Paul and Devin Booker are both fit, and the All-Star duo should be ready to start the game, as is DeAndre Ayton.

Predicted Lineup: Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Jae Crowder, Mikal Bridges, DeAndre Ayton

The Lakers are going into this game significantly shorthanded. Losing both their best players will put the rest of the roster on full display. Players like Kyle Kuzma, Dennis Schroder, and Montrezl Harrell will be expected to pick up the slack. However, with a fully fit Phoenix team that just defeated the Lakers, it could be too much for Frank Vogel’s men to overcome tonight.
