The Los Angeles Lakers take on the Golden State Warriors in an exciting clash in the West. The last time these two teams faced, the Warriors came up victorious thanks to a Steph Curry masterclass. Currently, the Warriors are on a three-game winning streak and have a 19-15 record in the West, and Steph Curry has been playing at an MVP level this season.
The Lakers, on the other hand, just snapped a four-game losing streak this Friday against the Trail Blazers. Dennis Schroder’s return galvanized the team, as they went on to get the win against an important conference rival. LeBron James continues to play at an MVP level, despite the absence of Anthony Davis. The Lakers will hope to continue their momentum into the All-Star break.
With that in mind, here is everything you need to know about the Lakers hosting the Warriors.

The Lakers will still be without Anthony Davis. Davis is suffering from a calf strain and will be out at least till after the All-Star break. The Lakers are taking no risk with AD’s injury, and want him back fully fit, even if it takes longer. LeBron James is probable for the game against the Warriors and could play, before possibly taking a rest from the final two games before All-Star week.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Golden State Warriors – Prediction
The Lakers have just broken their slump after their win over Portland, whereas the Warriors have finally won three games back-to-back this season. It appears as though Steve Kerr has found something of a winning formula, and it could come in handy against the Lakers. Given how their last encounter went, the Warriors have a slight edge, especially with the Lakers not having AD.
