Los Angeles Lakers won their fourth game in a row with a terrific win against the Charlotte Hornets. They now have a record of 28 wins and 13 losses and are the second seed in the Western Conference.
Atlanta Hawks also continued their fabulous run of form with their seventh victory in a row as they beat Oklahoma City Thunder. They now have a record of 21 wins and 20 losses and are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Hawks will miss some key players against the Lakers. New signing, Kris Dunn is out due to an ankle injury. Starter De’Andre Hunter is recovering from a knee injury, while Cam Reddish is out with an Achilles injury. Rotational center Nathan Knight is also out with an ankle injury.
