The Los Angeles Lakers are slated to take on the Memphis Grizzlies for their next fixture. The game will take place at the FedExForum in Memphis at 8:00 PM EST on Tuesday. The last time these two sides met, the LA Lakers won comfortably on the back of a sensational performance by LeBron James.

James scored 13 of his 22 points in the 4th quarter, which helped the purple and gold breeze past their opponents. Winning the game improved their season record to 5-2.

However, the same can’t be said for the Memphis Grizzlies. They are currently the 15th seed in the West with an underwhelming record of 2-4. Which team will emerge victorious on Tuesday night?

Los Angeles Lakers- Injury updates and predicted lineups

The purple and gold are deep in the injury trench as of now, luckily none of them will keep their players out for too long. In the latest injury report, LeBron James and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope were listed as questionable. Meanwhile, Alex Caruso was ruled out for yet another game as he was recovering from COVID-19.

Keeping their health status in mind, the Lakers’ lineup should feature Dennis Schroder (G), Kyle Kuzma (G), LeBron James (F), Anthony Davis (F), and Marc Gasol (C).

Memphis Grizzlies- Injury updates and predicted lineup

The Grizzlies’ roster is completely plagued with injuries as of now. They are playing with an incredibly small rotation, which is one of the biggest reasons for their poor form.

According to their recent injury report, the Grizzlies are without 7 players due to injury concerns. The biggest names on the list are of course Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr.

The Lakers should win their 6th game of the season without any trouble. They have a better team and due to the Grizzlies’ unfortunate injuries, it is hard to see the purple and gold getting bested.
