The last time Sacramento Kings played against Dallas Mavericks, they were able to snap their nine-game winning streak. But it’s been a tale of contrasting fortunes as the Mavs have won all three games since while the Kings have lost two out of three. The Mavs lie 6th in the Western Conference Table whereas the Kings find themselves at 12th.

Preview | Sacramento Kings

This game tonight is the second leg of a back-to-back for them. They are coming off a 117-113 to Golden State Warriors. And in that game, even though rookie Tyrese Haliburton scored 24 points, they missed the presence of De’Aaron Fox on the court.

Fox will miss the next 10-14 days after he was put in Quarantine in adherence to the NBA’s strict health and safety protocols. Marvin Bagley III won’t play any part either, as he still needs some on-court practice after the medical staff cleared him to resume on-court activities.

Preview | Dallas Mavericks

The Mavericks ended their five-game home run with a three-game winning streak. Now, they begin a six-day road trip, starting with the Kings tonight. But the big question mark remains on the availability of their three starters for tonight.

Josh Richardson, Kristaps Porzingis, and Luka Doncic are all questionable because of their respective hamstring, ankle, and elbow injuries. We expect Luka to rest as he has played a lot of games on the trot, whereas the likes of Porzingis and Richardson may be back in action.

They are exactly where they would have wanted to be, at 6th place and out of the play-in tournament. But they need a win tonight to consolidate that position further.

Predicted Starting 5 for Dallas Mavericks

Guard – Jalen Brunson

Guard – Josh Richardson

Center – Dwight Powell

Forward – Kristaps Porzingis

ForwardDorian Finney-Smith

Pick | Dallas Mavericks

With their offense beginning to flow and defense looking much tighter, the Mavs can consider themselves as the favorites for this matchup.
