This game will be between two of the very best teams in the West and in the Pacific Division. The Clippers are ahead of Golden State in the rankings, but the Bay Team has been looking dangerously good in recent games.

Golden State Warriors vs LA Clippers – Injury Updates and Lineups

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors seem to be one of the hottest teams in the NBA at the moment. Steph Curry has broken free of the pressure he was under and is putting up spectacular numbers to prove his case. Furthermore, Draymond Green’s return has massively boosted the Dubs to stand out and perform on the court.

The Warriors are currently on a two-game winning streak, and they look like a much better team when compared to how they began the season. Moreover, they have a real chance to extend their winning record when they take on the Clippers on Wednesday.

The Dubs are somewhat troubled by injuries, including the case of Klay Thompson and Marquese Chriss. The latter is scheduled to undergo surgery for his ankle problems and is out for the near future.

Furthermore, there arose another worry in the form of Alen Smailagic’s knee injury, which required surgery as well.

Possible Lineup

Steph Curry (G)

Andrew Wiggins (G)

Kelly Oubre Jr. (F)

Draymond Green (F)

James Wiseman (C)

LA Clippers

The Clips have the potential to rank as one of the best teams in the league, but they haven’t maximized it yet. The team hasn’t found their rhythm as they just lost to the San Antonio Spurs, who beat them on the back of a four-game losing streak.

Hence, it is very hard to place solid expectations on the Clippers. They’re sliding up and down at the moment, and it is about time Kawhi Leonard takes matters into his own hands.

As for their injury list, the only major concern lies on Paul George, as the swingman missed his team’s game against the Spurs. His ankle problems restricted him from competing, and PG is currently evaluated on a Day-to-Day basis.

Possible Lineup

Patrick Beverly (G)

Paul George (G)

Kawhi Leonard (F)

Nicolas Batum (F)

Serge Ibaka (C)

Prediction

This is a blockbuster game on a Wednesday night, and the Warriors are competing in their home arena. The teams are well-matched on paper, but the Golden State Warriors are currently experiencing a better run of form.

They’re boosted by Draymond Green’s leadership on the court, and it would play a massive factor when they take on the Clips as well. On the other hand, the LA Clippers are enjoying a winning percentage, but they lack consistency.

We’re predicting that the Golden State Warriors will this one owing to Steph’s hot shooting hand, which is complemented well by his supporting cast.
