The Warriors rode to victory against Portland on the back of a new career-high performance from Curry as the 32-year-old soared with a 62-point display.

This should prove to be enough motivation to the other Warriors on the roster that they’re on a world-class team led by a true superstar.

Moving on, the roster did not pick up any new injuries from the double-header against Portland, but they’ll still be without forward Marquese Chriss, Klay Thompson, and Alen Smailagic.

The Sacramento Kings belong to the same Pacific Division as the Warriors and have endured an unbalanced start to their 2021 campaign. They lost to the Houston Rockets in back-to-back games and will be the underdogs going into the Warriors fixture as well. 

De’Aaron Fox is currently putting up good numbers, but the Kings are now wounded by rookie Tyrese Haliburton’s wrist injury. He won’t play against Golden State, just like DaQuan Jeffries, who is sidelined due to an ankle sprain. On a brighter note, their starters are all healthy and recording efficient numbers at the moment.

Prediction

The Golden State Warriors take on the Kings at home, and even though there will be no fans in attendance, the Dubs have got this win under the belt.

They can get the victory, provided Steph Curry once again puts up magical numbers, or if Wiggins and the other supporting cast put up good displays. 

The Kings have the talent to cause an upset, but with Draymond Green back, Golden State has been able to cling to some of its shine. Hence, we’re going with a comprehensive Warriors win for this one.
