Despite Massive Brittney Griner Release, Wife Cherelle Isn’t Fully Satisfied: “I Will Remain Committed..”

After spending 294 days in Russia, Brittney Griner has finally been released. The update arrives after US President Joe Biden announced that he had a call with the WNBA legend today. The 3-time Russian National League winner is on her way back home, per sources.
However, her wife, Cherelle Griner, is still not fully satisfied, in spite of the supremely optimistic piece of news. The 30-year-old has vowed to help fellow Americans who are still suffering outside the nation. This includes the detained Paul Whelan and several others.

Wife Cherelle announces that she will keep working for Americans
In September 2022, President Biden met with the families of detained Americans Brittney Griner and Paul Whelan. Having acknowledged that every moment being spent by Griner and Whelan outside the USA is “a minute too long,” he assured the Phoenix Mercury icon’s spouse that parity would be restored. And approximately three months later, this promise has been fulfilled; but not entirely.

Speaking after the massive news, Brittney’s wife, Cherelle Griner, promised to remain set on her goal to bring every US citizen back home. “BG and I will remain committed to the work of getting every American home, including Paul, whose family is in our hearts today as we celebrate BG being home.” She continued to express her empathy towards all the other families still enduring what she went through for nine months.

President Joe Biden announces the return of Brittney Griner to the USA
Earlier, 80-year-old Head of State Joe Biden revealed that the 8x WNBA All-Star will be returning home. The move was confirmed after the USA reportedly agreed on a prisoner swap for Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout.

Russian authorities initially held back 31-year-old Griner in February 2022, on the account of illegal possessions. After months of detention in Russian centers, the exchange has been agreed upon in the UAE and was first reported by a US Official.
“Moments ago I spoke to Brittney Griner. She is safe, she is on a plane. She is on her way home,” declared the 46th US President. Following the historic decision, several Americans and members of the sporting fraternity revealed their relief and joy on social media. This is the biggest and decisive update in the saga after the 6″9 starlet was detained.
