Yet again, the 4x NBA champion has splurged his fortune for a good cause. On his recent visit to a home depot, the Lakers icon surprised a family and helped them with a much-needed purchase.

Given Shaquille O’Neal’s fame and large-than-life persona, it does not come as a surprise that people are enamored by his presence and charm. The Instagram handle ‘Lakers Legacy Legends’ has posted Shaq’s recent interaction with two women at a home depot. Diesel could be seen asking them what they were buying from the store.

In response, the women told Shaq about their purchase, a washer, and a dryer. Without thinking for a moment, Shaq stated that he will pay for it. The two women were overwhelmed to hear this. One of them quickly hugged the seven-footer and took a picture with him. With welled-up eyes, she kept on saying, “God bless you.” The 4x-NBA champion accompanied them for the purchase. Soon, a kid from the family came to meet the NBA veteran and Shaq playfully lifted the boy and posed for a picture.

This noble gesture came from Shaq, months after he helped a boy strive for his NFL dreams, and spent a fortune to help children coming from single-parent homes.

Months back, word spread that a 14-year-old NFL aspirant named Eric Kilburn was struggling to get shoes for his size. At such a young age, Kilburn has a shoe size that is larger than that of Shaq. When Diesel came to know of this, he and Reebok sent Kilburn five pairs of shoes. Shortly after helping out the NFL aspirant, the big man made news by opening a new Shaquille O’Neal Boys and Girls Club in Atlanta.

Speaking of this recent venture, the 2000 MVP stressed that it will be a great help for children coming from single-parent households.
