Actress and model Gabrielle Union recently opened up about the harsh realities of Hollywood. The wife of NBA legend Dwyane Wade in an article with ‘Who What Wear‘ talks about the definition of success contrary to Hollywood’s expectations. As always, we saw Union being candid, speaking openly about the issue.

Speaking about her beliefs, she reveals, “Early on, I firmly believed that if your movies were number one at the box office, your career would change. And you’d have all these opportunities.”

Further suggesting that fame can die down as quickly as you catch it, Gabrielle states some more views. She says, “You can go from being on all the ‘It-girl’ lists and being labeled as an ingénue to shit fast, and you’re worse off than before.”

Gabriel Union hits back at critics mocking her 50-50 relationship with Dwyane Wade

Recently Gabrielle Union found herself being mocked by NBA fans on the internet after jokingly claiming to have a “gorilla on her back“.

She also revealed she has other households to take care of other than her own. She takes care of her parents and her side of the family as well. The interesting part about the conversation was how Dwayne and Gabrielle share their responsibilities and bills 50/50.

Gabrielle retaliated to the hate she was getting after her honest comments. She says she is getting ‘hate’ for being realistic. She coldly continues, “Some people think of me as stupid for not forcing a very wealthy man to pay for my life. If that works in your house, I love that for you. But that’s not how it works over here“.
