The Ohio State Buckeyes just lost a closely-fought battle against the Georgia Bulldogs. After scoring the first touchdown of the game, the Buckeyes had Los Angeles Lakers great LeBron James absolutely hyped. James even went on to his official Twitter to praise WR Marvin Harrison Jr., which led to fans slamming James. But as the Bulldogs came away to steal the victory in the final moments, it led to a number of reactions on social media. 

The Buckeyes ended up losing the game by a one-point difference, which led to a wave of disappointment from James, fans, and even former Boston Celtics champion, Kendrick Perkins.

Earlier, LeBron James had sent out a tweet after he saw WR Marvin Harrison Jr. use his signature celebration, the ‘Crowd Silencer.’ James was hyped to see the Buckeyes take the first lead in the game.

However, with the Bulldogs getting the last laugh in the game, it compelled James to voice his frustration on social media.

The Buckeyes now stand with an 11-2 record. The disappointment among fans was palpable as they had hoped to kick off this new year with a victory for the team.

Bulldogs QB Stetson Bennett and head coach Kirby Smart gave post-game interviews where they gave props to the Buckeyes team for playing a great game. 

Head coach Kirby Smart not only gave credit to the opposing Buckeyes team but also mentioned how proud he was. Especially over the fact that his players did not give up and came away with the victory.
