Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are one of the most popular power couples in the country. The couple has gone through many ups and downs since they tied the knot in 2014. However, both Wade and Gabrielle never shy away from speaking their minds even if they know there could be repercussions for their comments. That was certainly the case when Union hit out at America’s Got Talent a few years back. The former talent show judge reportedly accused the show of “rampant workplace toxicity”.

The actress was reportedly removed from the position after she allegedly complained about racism and health violations in the show. Understandably, Gabrielle Union’s comments about the show stirred major controversy.

Gabrielle Union on her “lows” 

According to a report from Variety, NBC reached an agreement with Gabrielle Union in 2020 after her accusations. “We’ve reached an amicable resolution. NBC Entertainment appreciates the important concerns raised by Gabrielle Union and remains committed to ensuring an inclusive and supportive working environment where people of all backgrounds can be treated with respect,” NBC and Union’s spokespeople said in a joint statement.

Recently, Union was the cover model for Only Natural Diamonds Spring, Summer 2023 edition. The superstar also gave an exclusive interview where she answered a variety of interesting questions. In one instance, the interviewer asked about her upcoming movie The Perfect Find. It is all set to be released on June 14, 2023, on Netflix.

Union opened up about the struggles of being a producer and acting at the same time when the interviewer asked her about the ‘lows’ of working on the film. According to Only Natural Diamonds, Gabrielle said, “The harder parts were being the more experienced nuts and bolts producer on set and having to star at the same time. I have to make sure I’m present and locked in with the character, but also – s**t, gotta put that fire out.”

She added that her loyalty to the workers is intact and that everyone working in a film is important.
