The Sacramento Kings have taken a 2-0 lead against the Golden State Warriors at the Golden 1 Center. The young guns ran rampant against the reigning champions, winning the game 114-106. This is the first time head coach Steve Kerr has gone 0-2 down in the playoffs other than the 2019 NBA Finals. Moreover, both games have had their fair share of controversies. In game-1, Bay Area rapper E-40 was thrown out from the Kings’ arena. Game-2 had a Green-Sabonis altercation in the fourth quarter. Now, a former NBA star has expressed his displeasure after a new video of a Kings fan emerged.

The Dubs were leading the game at half-time in game-1. However, the Kings came back strong in the third quarter to take the lead. Both teams went toe to toe in the fourth quarter. But the Kings made some huge plays down the stretch to seal the victory, winning the game 126-123.

The Sacramento Kings ended the longest playoff drought in NBA history after they finished #3 in the Western Conference this year. Understandably, the Kings’ fans are excited considering how long they had to wait coupled with the atmosphere at the Golden 1 Center. However, the emotions of many in the hoops community seem to be heating up. A video clip of a Kings fan ringing a cowbell behind Warriors GM and President of Basketball Operations Bob Myers emerged on social media. It was reported the fan did it for the whole night during game-2.

NBA veteran turned internet personality Rex Chapman did not find it amusing. The former Charlotte Hornets player compared it to the incident from game-1 when rapper E-40 was thrown out.
