One of the highest trending players in the playoffs who was in the news for all the wrong reasons is touted to meet one of the NBA teams in the upcoming days. The man in question was criticized heavily by his critics during the first round of the NBA playoffs.

The first round between the Lakers and the Grizzlies was a controversial one. Lebron James had a lot of heated moments with a certain Grizzlies star. The 27-year-old Memphis star in question was even fined by the NBA for his misdemeanor during the series on and off the court.

Dillon Brooks had a rough couple of months. He got fined by the NBA and is not getting re-signed by the Memphis Grizzlies. He was seen challenging LeBron James on various occasions during the first round of the NBA playoffs. He faced some heavy backlash from various critics.

As Brooks enters the free agency, the details of his next destination is still unknown. It was reported that Brook’s reps might be meeting with the $3.2 billion-worth Houston Rockets. Brooks has already met with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks.

It’ll be interesting to see if Rockets will avail the services of Brooks. The 27-year-old was a controversial figure in the 2022 playoffs. That might be one of the reasons that the Grizzlies are not very eager to sign the basketball star.

The former Grizzlies star was heavily trolled after he decided to talk trash to LeBron James and didn’t back it up with his performances as the Grizzlies bowed out of the title contention after six games.

Despite being in the news for all the wrong reasons Wendell Carter Jr. believes that Dillon Brooks will be in the NBA for a long period of time. He said, “I think Dillon Brooks is a great person and a great player. A lot of people like to make their narratives about a lot of players from whatever they may do, which I don’t think is fair.”
