Kevin Durant has been truly exceptional this season. Leading the NBA in scoring stats, he is having a memorable year so far. However, the four-time scoring champion has other skills, notably in trash-talking.

The act of trash-talking has always been a part of this game. Whether it is used to get under someone’s skin or just plain disrespect, it doesn’t go away. Currently, Green is one of the best trash talkers around. However, it seems he has competition from Durant in that field.

Draymond Green says Kevin Durant is the best trash talker

In a recent episode of his podcast, the topic of trash-talking came up. While the Warriors man did not keep himself off the conversation, he also had another name. That turned out to be the Brooklyn Nets superstar. Green said he is one of the best talkers in the league and his recent Twitter and fan incidents are just proving that point.

He said: “I think you started to realize it now with the more he talks on Twitter or the more he’s caught saying stuff to fans in the stands. I’ve always told people, KD’s one of the biggest trash talkers to me since I came into the league. And it would be disrespectful stuff like ‘Ay who is this?’. KD would turn the dude around like trying to look at the back of his jersey to see his name on the back. K would say stuff to people and you’re like, ‘Yo! you Kevin Durant there’s not much I can say back.”

Green said that if he didn’t go with himself, Durant would definitely be his choice for the best trash talker in the league. There have been many incidents of Durant jawing with fans on the court as well as on Twitter. Moreover, he is not afraid to give it to players either. Notably, he had his incident with Trae Young which is just one of the few times Durant has done the talking.
