“You Ain’t F*****g With Kobe When He’s in Season”: Entourage Cast Member Reveals Lakers Legend Was Set to Appear in the $50 Million HBO Series but for Mamba Mentality

Some NBA stars are known not only for their on-court performances but also for appearances off the court. Fans can see their favorite icons in other fields too like acting, singing, and business. Kobe Bryant is one of those who not only earned a name for himself in basketball but was also seen doing other disciplines. Bryant can be seen in a number of films and television shows over the years.

Among all the career achievements and trophies, one of the most spectacular is undoubtedly an Oscar, which Kobe won for his short animated film ‘Dear Basketball’.

Kobe Bryant was set to make an appearance in Entourage

Kobe Bryant was a superstar both on and off the court. Recently, actor Jerry Ferrera joined NFL on ESPN‘s exclusive segment Not Just Football with Cam Heyward. The host Heyward asked about Ferrera’s experience working with rapper 50 Cent during his cameo in the popular HBO series Entourage.

During this, Ferrera remembered that the cameo was originally written for Bryant, but at that time the NBA season was going on, and Ferrera said, “You ain’t f*****g with Kobe when he’s in season.

The role was subsequently given to 50 Cent due to a last-minute rescheduling. Once, actor Jeremy Piven uploaded a post on his Instagram account, sharing his experience with the Los Angeles Lakers legend’s potential cameo on the show.
