As far as competitors go, Michael Jordan was probably the most deadly. A hunger to win consumed him. His most-priced 6-0 record speaks about MJ’s ruthless ferocity to come out on top. The same principles have carried on to his life after his legendary career. His Airness nearly gave Bow Vow the scare of his life when he put on the wrong pair of sneakers in Jordan’s mansion.
MJ left behind an untouchable legacy in the NBA. A transitional player, his greatness made the league a global name. And one of Jordan’s most priced tools was his sneaker brand, the Jordan brand. Air Jordan flew in the time its creator took flight on the hardwood. Rising as an undisputed king of sneakers, the iconic sneaker is the six-time champion’s most precious holding.

Jordan’s son, Marcus sat down with the sole collector to discuss a few sneaker stories. The son of the NBA great also revealed a rule of his house, nothing but Jordans will do. And the Like Mike star had to learn it the hard way. Donning a pair of Adidas sneakers, MJ gave a death stare right at his foot. After the intimidating glance, the five-time NBA MVP asked him to get rid of them. As expected, the next day, Vow went home wearing Jordans on his feet.
Marcus Jordan said: “Bow used to come in the house a lot. You know my dad is competitive. Bow came through one day, I can’t remember which Adidas shoes he had on. But my dad told me like ‘Hey, you better change them shoes I’m going to throw them s**ts away.”
