Both rappers had a look at different sneakers and then came to the Air Jordan 1 Chicago edition. The Air Jordan 1 Chicago edition was released in 1985. And those are one of the most iconic sneakers in the Jordan collection. They are known to be very rare with a hefty price tag on them as well.

And now the sneaker brand is trying to recreate those same sneakers with the 2022 edition called Air Jordan 1 retro high ‘Lost & Found.’ Takeoff mentioned that he had a pair of the original 1985 Air Jordan Chicago edition but lost them. And that’s when Joe asked the artists how both of them felt about the new ‘Lost & Found’ edition.

Both rappers felt the same way, agreeing with the fact that the original version was better. Quavo said, “Sometimes you gotta keep the original an original though.” And even Takeoff chimed in and said, “You can’t change a Picasso painting, you know what I’m saying.”

In the docuseries, The Last Dance, Michael Jordan wore the shoes in 1988 at Madison Square Garden in a game against New York. MJ ended up dropping 55 points on the New York Knicks that game. No wonder those shoes are so iconic even to this day.
