The Golden State Warriors are taking on the Dallas Mavericks in an NBA showdown. However, the night is special for another reason. Dallas is honoring their former player, Dirk Nowitzki for the night and putting his jersey up in the rafters. Likewise, before the game, Stephen Curry and fellow Warriors had messages for the German on his big night.
Dirk paved the way for international stars in the NBA. Moreover, he is one of the most loyal players in the history of the NBA. Nowitzki spent his entire career with the Mavericks and even brought a championship to the city. Hence, he has done everything to deserve this honor.

Curry said: “Dirk, congratulations on your jersey retirement, It’s obviously a well-deserved acknowledgment and accomplishment for your entire career and doing it in one city.
