Kevin Durant has been one of the best scorers in the NBA for the past decade or so. His 6?10 frame and smooth shooting form led him to get the upper hand on some of the best defenders and stars in the league. Durant was able to solidify his name right from his Oklahoma City Thunder days. However, since he went to the Golden State Warriors, the take on his legacy has drastically changed.

Durant already was one hell of a player while playing alongside Russell Westbrook in Oklahoma. But his move to join the Warriors to merge forces with Stephen Curry and an already stacked team led fans to add a certain narrative to it.

The ?Slim Reaper? sat down with Athletic reporter Shams Charania. That is when he gave an honest take on how he feels about his legacy in the league. Durant said, ?I don?t care about legacy. I used to.?

He went on to say, ?Nowadays, I truly, truly don?t care.? KD added that when he left to join the Golden State Warriors in 2016, almost everyone started adding their narrative to it. Be it fans or the numerous NBA analysts.

Durant won two NBA championships and two Finals MVPs during his time with the Warriors. But he received a lot of criticism due to it. Mostly over the fact that he joined a team that was already stacked with star players. All in the hopes of winning an NBA championship.
