After a controversial couple of weeks at the start of the season, the Brooklyn Nets have finally been able to turn things around. Currently sitting in fourth place on the Eastern Conference table, the Nets have a healthy 18-12 record. In the middle of all the controversy recently was Nets star, Kyrie Irving, who faced a lot of heat not just from fans but from the team owner Joe Tsai as well. However, the billionaire’s change in stance over Irving has left some NBA fans unimpressed.?

Kyrie Irving had been suspended from the team after his controversial post of a film that contained anti-Semietic material, but Nets owner Joe Tsai also kept a list of demands for Irving to complete in order to join back with the team.?

Joe Tsai switches positions on Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving went above and beyond to meet those requirements in order to join the squad. But after his game-winner against the Toronto Raptors in their last matchup, Tsai has seemingly changed his narrative toward the seven-time All-Star.?

Joe Tsai tweeted, ?This morning I woke up and watched this 100 times.? However, fans did not buy into his narrative. One fan tweeted, ?You was just trynna trade my guy stop it.?

Another fan commented, ?This man?s attempt at his own damage control is HILARIOUS.?

As for Irving, he absolutely balled out in their last game against the Raptors.

Irving looks to be coming back to form

The Nets won the game, 119-116 with Irving hitting the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer.

He scored 32 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists on the night. Irving has also upped his points-per-game average since his return. He is currently averaging 25.6 PPG, 4.7 RPG, and 4.6 APG so far this season with a true shooting percentage of 59.6%.

The Brooklyn Nets?are on a roll of late, winning their last five games in a row. So, for Joe Tsai to be pro-Irving all of a sudden should not come off as a surprise. He has helped the team win games regularly and the duo of Irving and Kevin Durant looks like it is finally ready to wreak havoc on opponents.
