NBA Legend Charles Barkley was one of the most heated players in NBA history. He would never back down and would often get into altercations. Chuck also got into it with some fans and was even arrested a few times. He went at it with his friend Shaquille O’Neal back in the day. But when one of the most feared men on the planet, Mike Tyson, threatened him, Chuck backed down and made an honest admission.

Back in the day, Shaq and Barkley once got into a fight. It was 1999 and Shaq was at the Lakers whereas Chuck was at the Rockets. Despite being much smaller, Chuck did not back down against Shaq, who was a monster. They got into it after an altercation, and Chuck threw the ball at Shaq’s head. Both of them threw hands after that and had to be separated.

And when Mike Tyson was shown that video, it’s safe to say it did not impress him.

Several years down the line, Chuck and Shaq have become part of Inside the NBA. They put their beef to bed and are now really close friends. But the studio bought up the fight and also showed it to Tyson.

Chuck was surely shivering after what Tyson said. Tyson said,“ That was really funny. Yeah, that was really funny. Don’t fight. If that’s not what you do, don’t do it. Chuck was a little awkward, looking hesitant.”

“You know hesitant in throwing the punch and they didn’t come across as good fighters you know and by the way Chuck, I will kick your a**. I would just kick your a**. I will kick your a**.”

After seeing his reaction, Chuck was asked what he thought about it. He carefully says, “This is it, Mike Tyson. You’re right, you kick my a**”

Chuck took the smart road and accepted his fate. There are not a lot of people who could take on Mike Tyson. And if they did, they were in for a beating of a lifetime. Certainly not an NBA player who did not know how to fight according to Iron Mike himself.
