Lately, a video of 16-year-old LeBron getting discovered as he dominated at ABCD camp has been doing the rounds on social media. In it, we can hear people calling out “LeBron James” and calling him “legit” even then. He had a commanding presence even at that early age and quickly became a household name. The clips show him scoring baskets and his jump showed just how good he was at 16.
James was drafted as the first pick in 2003 into the NBA. In the same year that Michael Jordan retired, the league drafted the heir to his throne. It is because of how James has performed since, and set numerous records, that his game has been compared to Jordan.

Antoine Walker, the former Boston Celtics star, told a story about Jordan personally reaching out to him back in 2001. Jordan was preparing to make his NBA comeback during this time. They used to practice with some big names including Tim Hardaway, Michael Finley, and Juwan Howard.
It is interesting to note that James was only 16 years old at the time, and he got an invitation to those scrimmages as well. And a chance to play with legendary players like Jordan.
