James Harden has played for more than a decade in the NBA and has gone through good phases and bad phases. Houston Harden was one of the best players in the NBA. But actor Kevin Hart had revealed a secret behind one of his all-time great performances. To give context, Hart is a Philly fan through and through.

He was attending a 76ers game against Houston and Harden was not performing well early on in the game. Hart decided to give him some lip service due to that. Philly fans are known for not holding it back. Hart was no exception. He continued to disrespect him in a 2017 game.

Hart revealed to Jimmy Kimmel that during the first quarter, Harden was off his game. The comedian said, “I was like you know why you off? Because you are in my city. Your beard stinks, I hate you. I was like, I hate your calves and I think you got butt shots. I was saying a bunch of stuff to him.”

Harden did not lap up that disrespect. It fueled him instead. He made contested threes and mid-range fadeaways. Harden destroyed the 76ers on their home court and carried his team to a 123-118 victory. Kevin Hart didn’t let him go away so easily, though.

After the match, Hart decided to interrupt Harden’s post-match interview. The comedian decided to dance and do his thing in the middle of the interview. Harden called him his guy since “day one”. Nonetheless, Hart took the loss well and congratulated the player after that.

James Harden posted 51 in Philly

The game Hart attended was a regular-season match between the 76ers and the Rockets on the 28th of January. Harden ended up scoring 51 points and had 13 rebounds and assists. It was an all-time great game from him. He had 46% shooting from the field and 54% shooting from beyond the three-point line. Harden also successfully scored 13 out of his 14 free throws.

He became the first player with multiple triple-double 50-point performances that season. James Harden had 36 points by halftime. It was a performance to remember for Philly and Houston fans.
