The legendary actor-comedian has made a comeback to acting after a 2319-day hiatus to tell the inspiring story of Michael Jordan signing with the popular sports apparel company, Nike. However, Tucker’s casting selection was also an unbelievable story, as most of his stories usually are, with a jarring coincidence.

Apparently, when director Ben Affleck approached Tucker for the role, he came to know that the veteran actor was actually friends with the man he was supposed to play. Former Nike Executive, Howard White.

However, Affleck’s surprise didn’t end there, as he soon discovered that Tucker had a ‘superpower’ of knowing every important person in the country. In a recent interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Affleck hilariously mentioned the incident while Tucker added on with a few more of his legendary excerpts from his famous meetings with the legendary Muhammad Ali and Nelson Mandela.

I met Muhammad Ali, he said ‘You a funny Mother-Tucker‘,” said the Rush Hour superstar, impersonating the boxing legend. He added, “…met [Nelson] Mandela, went to Africa and he was like [Impersonating Nelson Mandela] ‘Where is Chris Tucker? I want him to meet my Grandkids’…I met BB King? Bill Russell, it’s great to just meet them.”

Along with him, many of the cast members were eager to be featured in ‘Air’, especially if they were chosen by His Airness himself.
