LeBron James gave insights on his recent form, as he spoke to Chris Haynes in the post-game interview after defeating the Nets. When asked about his mentality and approach going into the recent games, Bron said, “You’re gonna have some good days and you’re gonna have some bad days... Just keep it pushing forward and you’re gonna give yourself an opportunity to be successful”.

The Lakers have not been away from problems repeatedly this season in spite of LeBron playing like he’s still in Cleveland. However, he does not complain about carrying the weight of the whole team on his shoulders, especially with Davis’ injuries troubles and Westbrook’s inconsistency. “I just love this game”, he said.

‘The Chosen One’ revealed that his mentality has been of a champion this season. He does not let things outside the court faze him at all. LeBron asserted that the game is won between the four lines. It’s not about the conversations that go on outside. In addition, he believes that one has to block all these things which are outside, and just put in maximum effort to see results.

LeBron James and the Lakers- can they turn things around?

Notably, the Lakers, who saw Anthony Davis get some rotation time today, defeated the Nets 106-96, for tying their wins-losses for the season at 24-24. Additionally, LeBron finished with 33 points, dished out 6 dimes, and cleaned the glass 7 times in last night’s game.

Furthermore, it is only a matter of time before James, who is currently 2nd in the league in points per game with 29.1 PPG, overtakes the number one Durant who has 29.3 PPG. Remarkably, King James, in his 19th season, is the league leader in fast-break points per game with 4.7.

As of right now, the Lakers are still the 8th seed in the West. This would make them barely eligible for the play-in tournament for the 7th seed in the Playoffs. However, there is no guarantee that the teams behind, like the Clippers and Trailblazers, cannot come in front.

Certainly, Anthony Davis’ return in last night’s game is promising. Despite his limited minutes, there is hope that the Lakers can start winning more games.
