In the win against the Lakers, Curry put up a 21 point triple double. However, he did not have a great night when it came to scoring. So, facing the other LA team, he put on a show like no one else right from the start. The ‘Baby Face Assassin’ came in for the kill from the very first second, going perfect from the field for the entire quarter.

Stephen Curry on fire

A few days before, Steph was struggling from the field. While it was a rare sight, no one expected him to bounce back in the way he did. The Warriors star went off scoring 25 points in the first quarter, shooting a perfect 9/9 from the field. There could be no better way to bounce back from a rare poor offensive showing. In true Curry fashion, he knocked down 5 triples and had everyone talking about him.

Despite his huge first quarter, the Kawhi-less Clippers have the lead. They have a 1 point lead at the half. Unsurprisingly, Paul George is leading the way scoring 22 points to go with 2 steals. Point guard Eric Bledsoe is also on the score sheet with 15 points while center Ivan Zubac has 10 points in just 9 minutes. Last season’s find, Reggie Jackson is yet to score as he is 0/5 from the field.

For the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry went quiet after his first quarter adding just 3 points in the second quarter. Andrew Wiggins is the next best scorer with 13 points. Only three of their starters have actually scored so far with the bench providing a boost once again.
