Zach LaVine is having his best season yet. After showing glimpses of his potential for several years, LaVine is finally living up to the said potential for the Chicago Bulls.

The franchise has a lot of faith in him and has built around him, bringing in fellow All-Star center Nikola Vucevic. And it looks like it has paid dividends, as LaVine just made more history for the Chicago Bulls.

In Chicago Bulls‘ game against the Atlanta Hawks, Zach LaVine put up a new career-high. LaVine went off, scoring 50 points in a loss to the Atlanta Hawks.

LaVine made history in the process, becoming the fifth Chicago Bull to score 50 points for the franchise. He joins Michael Jordan, Jimmy Butler, Jamal Crawford, and Chet Walker to score 50 or more points for the historic NBA franchise.

Despite LaVine’s incredible scoring, the Bulls were not able to get the win against the Atlanta Hawks. The Bulls have been struggling in recent games, despite the addition of Nikola Vucevic.

As is the case with most additions, LaVine and Vucevic are building their chemistry together slowly. The duo will need a little more time to be able to work together in winning efforts for the franchise.

LaVine is having his best season with the Chicago Bulls so far. He made the All-Star game for the first time in his career. Furthermore, he has made the Bulls competitive in the Eastern Conference.

Currently, the Bulls have a 22-29 record in the conference and are on track to make a play-in game to reach the playoffs. LaVine will be hoping to push the Bulls up the rankings to secure a better seed.

For the season, LaVine is averaging his best numbers career-wise. He is averaging 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Furthermore, he is averaging 41% from the three-point line, 85% from the free-throw line, and 50% from the field.

LaVine’s numbers are showing a natural progression, one that Bulls fans have been waiting for.
