Many stars like Russell Westbrook and Kyle Kuzma have previously donned eye-catching outfits. It seems New Orleans Pelican star Zion Williamson, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the end of January, could use some game time to shift focus from his drip game. Williamson is effectively making waves for his fashion taste or for the lack of it. 

On the recent episode of the Brilliant Idiots podcast, Charlamagne and Andrew Schulz talked about Williamson’s outfits while also dragging Ja Morant into the conversation. The American radio host expressed that the Pelicans star has one of the worst fashion tastes in the league.

A famous radio personality slams Ja Morant while targeting Zion Williamson

The NBA, now more than ever, has become a platform for fashion. Jordan Clarkson and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander have already established themselves as the kings of the tunnel. Others have been known to spend absurd amounts of money on choosing the right combination before a game. It seems like Zion Williamson is not one of them. The 2-time All-Star prefers to keep his outfits simple, usually sporting just a hoodie. 

On the latest episode of the Brilliant Idiots podcast, Charlamagne and Andrew Schulz chimed into the Williamson debate. Charlamagne is from South Carolina – where Williamson grew up. He still feels, however, that the Pelicans star’s dressing sense is unbelievably bad. Charlamagne said, “He’s from South Carolina, I wanna see him win. The only thing worse than Ja Morant’s personal choices are Zion Williamson’s outfits! It’s unbelievable how bad my South Carolina brother is.”

The Radio Hall of Famer, who has a $10 million net worth, also added that Williamson tries his best to dress horribly every time he gets out of the house. Additionally, Charlamagne also took shots at Williamson’s injury by asserting that he spends most of his time on the sidelines wearing horrible outfits.

Not only Zion, but even Ja Morant faced the wrath of Charlamagne and Andrew Schulz. During a segment of the podcast, Schulz brought up the fact that the Memphis Grizzlies star earns an absurd amount of money, for someone who has time and again found himself in the eye of the tornado. Targeting Morant, the radio host seems to be referencing the Grizzlies centerpiece’s recent controversies.

Ja Morant, over the past few months, has twice been suspended after clips of him brandishing a gun surfaced online. If apples and oranges were to be compared, many would agree that Morant’s personal decisions seemingly align with Williamson’s poor fashion choices.
